Question 1

What is FleetIntel?

Accepted Answer

FleetIntel is a cost-intelligence layer for African fleet operations. It brings every vehicle cost together: fuel, maintenance, downtime and parts, giving your team one clear number to understand, control and reduce fleet costs.

Question 2

Does FleetIntel work without an internet connection?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The mobile app is offline-first. Inspections, photos, signatures and job updates queue locally on the phone the moment the network drops and sync automatically when connectivity returns.

Question 3

Can we connect our existing telematics provider?

Accepted Answer

Yes. FleetIntel has an open API for telematics. Connect your provider for automatic fuel, kilometre and driver-assignment data without ripping and replacing what you already use.

Question 4

How does the costing approval chain work?

Accepted Answer

Job costing and parts requisitions move through workshop, operations and finance in sequence. If you do not have a dedicated workshop manager, you can reassign who approves costing without changing how the workflow runs.

Question 5

Who is FleetIntel built for?

Accepted Answer

Logistics and distribution, transportation, emergency medical services, security and armed response, field services, and any business with a moving vehicle.

Question 6

Can different roles see different things?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Admins, managers, workshop heads, operations, finance and mechanics each see exactly what their job needs. Access and dashboard layouts are configurable per person.
